ANNUAL CONVENTION
Isu Na Elligbaraogu holds its Annual Convention in July of every year on or before July 4th weekend to raise funds for projects in the USA and at homeland. It is the most important reunion event for exchange of ideas, networking, cultural activities, youth and women activities, gifts and awards for members residing in the USA, Canada, homeland and beyond.
AWARDS AND RECOGNITION PROGRAM
Isu Na Elligbaraogu (INE) gives four categories of award to individuals or companies that have made important impacts on the lives and affairs of our community. The following awards are given every year; INE award for Leadership; INE award for Community Service; INE award for Innovation and INE Circle of Excellence Award which is our highest award category.
FREE MEDICAL MISSION
Isu Na Elligbaraogu through its sister organization Isu League Professionals carries out medical mission to Alaisu each year. The result has been unprecedented. The goal is to provide quality healthcare that is patient-centered, efficient and effective. Their third free medical mission had towering outcomes; 40 beneficiaries of the eye-tests and examinations got delivery of their eye glasses. A total of about 3500 people were treated and N12 million naira spent in drugs and related medical conditions; dental care; minor surgeries; eye care; laboratory tests; healthcare education; transportation of the sick with light refreshments; logistics and publicity.
WOMEN PROGRAMS
The women programs centered on organizing our women for cultural and educational upliftment of our youths and organization with the goal to have a well-grounded community of people where relationships can be built and nourished and the language, traditions and culture of our land promoted and maintained. Efforts are made to champion a Micro Finance program which will raises funds to assist women in business and at homeland to thrive.
YOUTH PROGRAMS
The purpose of the youth program is to create awareness among young boys and girls for cultural enrichment and future continuity of the organization.
HOMELAND SUMMIT
The INE holds Annual Homeland Summit that witnesses various football competitions and cultural displays. The summit is a chance to review organization activities and exchange feedback between home-based and diaspora stakeholders.
